About this directory
What this directory is
Milan Psychiatrist Guide is an independent directory that lists and compares 84 psychiatrist businesses serving Milan. It exists for people trying to work out which practice fits their situation, whether that’s someone looking for a first consultation, a family member trying to compare options for a relative, or someone who has moved to the city and needs a new provider. We built it because that comparison is genuinely hard to do well from search results alone, and most people don’t have time to cross-check a dozen practice websites and review pages one by one.
We are also honest about the rest of the picture. Milan Psychiatrist Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and it also generates enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for doing so. Referral arrangements never affect scores or earned rankings. The quote page spells this out again at the point you’d actually use it.
Where the listing data comes from
Each profile is built from public business data (things like location, services offered, and contact details) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We don’t republish review text wholesale; instead we summarise the patterns we see and link out to Google so you can read the original reviews yourself if you want the full context.
How rankings are earned
Rankings come from a published rubric applied consistently to the data we collect, nothing else. You can read the full breakdown on our methodology page. No practice can pay to move up the list, and we don’t sell placement of any kind. What we do allow is clearly labelled “Sponsored” placement, shown in its own separate section, which never touches or reorders the earned ranking beneath it.
A business that finds incorrect details on its own profile (a wrong phone number, an outdated address, a service that’s no longer offered) can request a correction to those facts. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, sentiment summary, or position in the ranking. That part stays independent by design.
Who maintains this
The directory is published by Federico Baranzini Psichiatra a Milano, practicing in Milan since 2012. Editorial oversight of the rankings sits with Federico Baranzini, Managing. Dr. Federico Baranzini is a psychiatrist, psychogeriatrician, and psychotherapist who has practiced in Milan since 2004; you can read more about his practice on his own site, Federico Baranzini Psichiatra a Milano. If you want to reach the publisher directly, whether about a correction, a question on methodology, or anything else, email federico.baranzini@gmail.com or call 3881044874.
Keeping it current
Listing data across the directory is refreshed monthly. Each profile also carries its own “last verified” stamp, so you can see at a glance how recently that specific listing was checked rather than assuming the whole site was updated at once.

FAQ
- Can a psychiatrist practice pay to rank higher?
- No. We don't sell placement. Rankings are earned from a published rubric applied to public data and review synthesis. Sponsored slots, when present, are labelled clearly and kept separate from the earned ranking.
- Can a listed business edit its own review sentiment or score?
- No. A business can correct factual details like its address or phone number, but it cannot change its score, sentiment summary, or ranking position.
- Does the site send my enquiry to a provider?
- Yes. If you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may earn a referral fee. This never changes the rankings shown on the site.
- How often is listing data updated?
- The full directory is refreshed monthly, and each listing shows its own last verified date so you can check how current that specific profile is.
